The winners of the Football Without Discrimination competition have been announced.

The first All-Russia  Football Without Discrimination Competition of artworks announced by the Federal Research and Education Center for Psychology and  Tolerance education at the beginning of the year, supported by the ANO Russia-2018 Committee, has ended. 

The competition is timed to the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which is celebrated annually on March 21 and is part of a large project carried out in preparation for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia. 

The key task of the organizers was to reach out to the Russian youth and the society as a whole to create an environment free from discrimination by popularizing humanistic values of sport and football in particular. 

From the Baikal Region to Kalmykia, young artists aged 15 to 30 from 27 cities in Russia took part in the competition. They presented their works in three categories - Football breaks down stereotypes, Football opens opportunities and Football unites continents. 

The winners will come to Moscow on March 21. The award ceremony will be held at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. The best works will be presented at the exhibitions held by the organizers and partners of the competition, as well as presented in the cities-organizers of the FIFA World Cup 2018. 

The heads of the Russia-2018 Organizing Committee, famous sportsmen, World Cup 2018 ambassadors will be among honoured guests who will award diplomas to the winners. A special prize will be presented by the President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia,  Alexander Boroda, the General Director of the Federal Research and Methodology Center for Psychology and Tolerance Education.
