Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Moscow State University; Head of the Department of Psychology Methodology; Doctor of Psychology; professor, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Chief Scientific Secretary of the Russian Academy of Sciences Presidium; recipient of the Russian Federation Government award in Education; Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation; gold medal of the Russian Academy of Education; Honorary Professor, Fernando Pessoa University  (Porto, Portugal).

He is a member of the Education Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences; member of the Expert Council of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for Pedagogy and Psychology, and the Deputy Chairman of the Council on Psychology of the Research and Methodological Association on traditional university education of the Russian Federation. 

Elected President of the Russian Psychological Society; Honorary President of the Society of Psychologists of the Security Agencies; member of the Presidium, the International Union of Psychological Sciences (IUPsyS) to UNESCO; member of the governing bodies of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP); member of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA); member of the Russia Philosophy society. 

He is part of the research and methodology commissions and expert councils of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Civil Defence, critical emergencies and elimination of natural disasters consequences, Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
